This is an east coast American pale ale base, meaning it is aroma hop forward and a bit hazy. You could compare it to a session IPA. Toasted dandelion root is added to the boil which imparts a nutty earthy flavor while adding to the bitterness slightly. This is noticed on the front, which slowly fades to a fruity bubblegum flavor that comes from the heavy use of galaxy hops in the whirlpool and dry hopping additions. It packs a lot of flavor for a light beer but doesn't sit heavy so it is still fairly easy drinking.
